i parked on the rock as usual with my disabled badge on display as there were cars with no disabilty badges parked in the disabled bays on coming back to my car on crutches i had a ticket on my car saying that i had not displayed a permit,i am ex marines and wasn blown up in afghanistan by an i,e,d roadside bomb damaging my spine,now if i cannot park in a disabled bay as non disabled people have parked there why should a jumped up jobs worth parking enforcement officer ticket me,totally ludicrious&pathetic,you would have thought that the parking enforement officer would have common sence and why was non of the people using the disabled bays ???? very offended and im writing to the bury mp and contacting disability rights and the local paper as well as a national paper,its a disgrace.

I have recently got a job here, is there any parking scheme for employees to park for cheaper as I have to drive as public transport will take me hours to get there instead of 40mins.

Beware of the car park’s concrete stairs when it’s been raining. i slid off the top step and landed on the bottom one as there was no grip insight on any of the steps. I was wearing appropriate footwear. If I’d been an older person I would have ended up in hospital. After a few days rest and a huge bruised bum and hip i’m on the road to recovery. Please just be careful.

I’ve got a job in The Rock tonight but can’t find details of specifically where the street entrance is for their car park, I know the Mill Gate one around the corner, though. Can anyone shed any light?

Edited (offensive language removed): Barry, there is only one exit out of the car park in which there are 8ft tall machines to pay for tickets.
There are also signs on the walls directing you to the lifts.

Information regarding the use of the Rock Car Park is abismal!

No signs to show which pedestrian doors to use for normal exit and which are one way FIRE DOORS

No obvious details of how and where to buy the Parking Ticket

If you want free parking after 6pm then don’t turn up at 6pm. I have been stung twice now entering the car park whilst the six o’clock news has been on. The clock is incorrect on the entrance by about 3mins. Make sure you get there at 5 past 6 or you will be paying £1.20 like me.

Very annoyed customer.
