Merry Hill shopping centre, Dudley

The 200+ shops at Merry Hill mall in Brierley Hill near Dudley, West Midlands, alter their opening and closing hours over the Christmas and New Year period.

Shops at Merry Hill include: BHS, Debenhams, Marks and Spencers, Primark and TK Maxx. Also on the site are hugely popular stand-alone stores: Asda and Sainsbury’s.

Standard weekday opening hours at Merry Hill are 9am – 10pm.
Saturday 9am – 8pm and Sunday 11am – 5pm.

But during the Xmas and New Year holidays, many of the shops, restaurants and attractions at Merry Hill mall alter their opening and closing times.

Merry Hill opening and closing hours over Christmas

From Friday 25 November 2016,  Merry Hill shopping centre will be open until 10pm on weeknights and 8pm on Saturdays.

From 19-23 December 2016, Merry Hill shopping centre will be open until midnight.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Day

As there are so many shops at Merry Hill, you should contact the centre before travelling to check how the opening times will be altered during holidays. See the Merry Hill telephone and email contact details. Nando’s, Pizza Express, Asda and Sainsbury’s and the Odeon Cinema tend to have opening times which differ from the standard Merry Hill opening times.

    We are travelling to this area on new years day. Can you please tell me if some of the shops are open on January 1st. Many thanks

      Hi Laura even I want to know the same I have come to Birmingham and want to shop for New years day,looks like its 10. Can’t believe and its the day we all look forward for,the sales,time is wrong.

        Hi Dharmista – the times stated on this page are correct. New Year’s Day is a Bank Holiday – which is why opening times may be shorter than you expect. Thanks for commenting.
